PhD Position Materials Science and Electrochemistry Areas

We are seeking energetic and innovative PhD researchers to join our newly established research group working in materials science and electrochemistry areas. We are looking for candidates with experience in these areas: (Photo)electrochemical methods, scanning probe techniques, thin film or ultrahigh vacuum deposition techniques, or additive manufacturing.

What do we expect from you?

• A Master’s degree in either chemistry, physics, materials sciences, or related fields.

• Conduct independent research using various techniques mentioned above, perform materials characterization and develop new technologies and techniques

• Mentor junior researchers, collaborate with other researchers, and work as a team

• Present research findings at conferences and publish peer-reviewed articles

• Involve in laboratory management, e.g., maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies, assisting in the development of laboratory protocols and safety procedures

• Excellent command of English, knowledge of German is a plus
